School Lunch 2019-2020
Lunch at James Monroe Middle School has many varieties from healthy meats and protein to fruits and vegetables. Some of the meals at A and B Lunch include cheeseburgers, home-style wedges, cucumber slices, cool tropic fruit drinks and milk. Many different meals are served other than this if it does not satisfy students. There are also secondary choices if needed. James Monroe Middle School also offers free lunch for students and families that struggle to pay for lunch.
There is also a snack bar at James Monroe Middle School if students do not want to buy lunch from the main cafeteria. This includes a variety of foods and drinks such as pizza, chips, and chicken sandwiches. At the Snack Bar, James Monroe also offers bottled water and fruit flavored soda. Finally, students can buy sweets and treats such as donuts, cookies, brownies, and ice cream. All of these are at low costs of $.50 to $1.50. At the Snack Bar, students have either the option to pay with cash or the students ID number. Money can be put into the students card to buy food. All the students must do when they have the money in their card is type in their student ID number.
The James Monroe website has a section for the daily lunch menu under menus. Here it tells students what is being served for the day. It also shows nutrition facts and how well rated it is. Of course some meals will vary with things like the amount of protein or certain vitamins needed.
