In this class the students do many projects along with writing detailed notes and performing labs. Mythbusters is a class that will benefit the students in their science careers. In the month of March the students of Mythbusters finished up their last unit and started a new unit.
This month the students started working on their new unit. The students must gather information on energy and climate change. The students started to research energy sources and the use of energy sources. Along with the project they also gathered information on how energy affects climate change around the world. Later on the students will perform lab experiments on these topics. These activities were also to prepare them for a Socratic Seminar, where each individual will participate and write a proposal for creating a sustainability environment at our school.
At the end of the day most of the students has had fun while learning something new. Student Selena Cuevas said “I like Mythbusters because we do many fun projects and it’s more hands on science.”
